Game Design Geek

Things here in the ATL are going just great.  I really love my job, I got promoted to lead technical designer….cool.  I love my apartment, I love the area i live in, I’m just really diggin it here.  But I have to admit that I really do miss Austin, and its been weighing heavy on my mind about what all I am missing.  Luckily I am surrounded here by a lot of friends.  Its like I drug half my friends from work and San Diego here.

I finally have a TV, cable and two game  consoles.  And then there is always WOW.  I miss not being able to just drive out and see Damon and the family though.  But I think as I get more comfortable here, I will settle in, meet more new people and get better acclimated.

Been sick with the what I think was the flu for the last two weeks and that’s just been peachy, I hope it wears off soon.  I have had a hacking cough now for almost the entire two weeks and to be honest its getting real old.  Not to mention the fact that I really have been really tired, and light headed most of the time.  Its made it real tough to concentrate at work and when I get home I really don’t feel like doing a whole lot.  But I’m sure it will pass soon.
